About Sintesis
SINTESIS is one of the most famous and popular bands in present Cuban music. Their music contributes
to a better understanding of the Afro-Cuban musical heritage. At the same time, their access is always contemporary.
SINTESIS sets up its own expressive path. Ethno-Rock mixed with elements of Afro-Cuban roots defines the style
of this band.
SINTESIS-founder Carlos Alfonso stands out as one of the first Cuban composers of the last decades to merge Jazz,
Rock and international music with yoruba chants and other Cuban rhythms as guaguancó, son and rumba. The result
is a unique style within Cuban popular music with which they call the attention of critics and public.
